Nothing better than some fundamentally different moral boundaries to ruin what is otherwise a very tender love between soulmates. People keep asking me if Cordelia and Charlie will ever work it out and have a happy ending and my response is their relationship is inspired by Jimmy and Kim's from better call saul so take from that what you will. . BONES BONES BONES (contains flashing imagery) I'm always making HABROMANIA content about Alice or the Queen of Hearts so I figured it was about time to give y'all some Hatter content. He's my favorite character to write, can you tell I love sleezebag too-chatty salesman-type characters? Anyway out of everyone in the game I think he takes the cake for most unhinged- I don't even think he knows where he is half the time, much less WHO he is. Poor baby. . I have been wanting to make this video for a year but kept working on content for the video game (like backgrounds and cutscenes), but finally had some time this weekend to work on this. Everyone loves a happy ending. A cute little atmospheric animation of one of the possible endings for HABROMANIA. I have 4 (5, really) planned for now, and I consider them all canon. I don't love games that have a "true" ending, with the others just sort of throw-away ones you get if you don't explore enough or make the "correct" choices. I think each ending should fit thematically with the story and be a natural consequence of playstyle- even if they're bittersweet or unhappy, they should still feel satisfying. HABROMANIA isn't really a horror game in the obvious sense- it's mostly uncanny valley or liminal space vibes- but this ending leans the most into horror.
When she’s not executing innocent civilians, on a vengeful rampage, or plotting her revenge against the Hatter, the Queen of Hearts enjoys reading her trashy romance novels in her underwear with a cup of rose tea and a cherry tart with cream. The queen seems less terrifying when she's out of her royal regalia. She seems younger. Like just a normal girl. She's probably not much older than Alice is. How did she end up this way?
Though no one in Wonderland sleeps, Cordelia still dreams. And the Hatter's always there, because he occupies most of her waking thoughts and why should her dreams be any different? In her favorite dream, he's there with her. Not alive, of course, but that's just because he's finally gotten what he deserves, and now- well, now he knows how it feels. He gets her. And it's nice, isn't it? Not to be alone?
